What is ASL Institute of Religion?
The ASL institutes of religion program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides religious education for young adults ages 18 to 35. Institute provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their commitment to Jesus Christ and conduct a comprehensive study of the scriptures and words of modern-day prophets. Institute students may find guidance and direction from the Holy Ghost. This guidance can help them make important life decisions as students learn together and strengthen one another.
The ASL Institute program is taught in classes that are both in person and remote. These classes are taught using American Sign Language (ASL) and are intended for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students. Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from all over the country are able to connect with one another, and with their teachers, to learn deeply about Jesus Christ. Come and join us!
